Latrina Thomas, PhD
Co-Executive Director
Dr. Latrina Thomas is a seasoned researcher, mental health counselor, and leader in maternal and child health equity. As the previous Project Director at the Center for Maternal and Child Health at Tuskegee University, she brings deep expertise in program design and evaluation. She co-founded the HLC Maternal & Family Mental Health Research Center to uplift culturally grounded solutions through research, strategy, and advocacy. Dr. Thomas teaches Graduate students at Purdue Global University and is an Assistant Professor at Tuskegee University in the School of Allied Health. Dr. Thomas is committed to empowering communities through evidence-based practice and collaborative change.
